The Texans defense is hurrying Rodgers up a bit in the pocket but that is giving him the opportunity to show how well he handles that, reads what is happening, and how quick he releases the ball or can throw on the move.

Within a few plays of both play action as well as short runs, he makes a pass to Jones and they get their second touchdown with just 24 seconds left in the first quarter the Packers take an early 14 to 0 lead.

The each have an opportunity of possessions and neither team convert it into points. With minutes left in the 1st quarter the Texans get their chance again.

They really must do something offensively with the drive and with such a good punt by the Packers they are starting on their own 3 yard line.

The Packers are not able to stop their 3rd down conversion and the Texans keep the drive alive. After afew plays they stall and the Packers are able to stop the drive on 3rd and 10 and the Texans punt once again.

The Texans started with the ball and the defense of the Packers does their job and shuts down the Texans and gets their offense the ball.

They get the first of their third down conversions and it’s first and 10. They don’t get the first down on third and 3 and they have to punt also.

A penalty on the punt gives the Packers the ball back and a first down. And the next play Rodgers get the ball to Nelson and they get a touchdown. This give the Packers the early lead and it is 7 to 0.

New England using their hurry up offense makes a decent effort but they are kept from making the first down so Seattle is going to take this game with a 1 point win. The final score 24 Seahawks to 23 Patriots.

Seattle makes the first down and then next play Wilson throws deep to Rice and he makes the touchdown.

With the extra point Seattle they have the lead back with 1 minute 18 seconds left.

New Englan has a 6 point lead and Seattle has the ball with 3rd down and 10 with no time outs left. The score is 23 to 17.

The have to convert the next down.

The score going in to the half is 17 to 10 with the Patriots in the lead against the Seahawks.

At the 2 minute warning the Patriots have the lead and the New England Patriots have the ball. The score is 17 to 10.

After watching the first possession of each team I think that Dallas has a pretty good shot at winning this one. They scored a touchdown on the first drive which is the first time they have been able to do that this year.

The Ravens need to settle down and get into their groove right away since it appears Dallas has the momemtum early.

I got errands to run so will not get to watch this game….

By the numbers I might have picked the Ravens but gut feeling tells me Dallas wants the win more and 10 minutes into the game looks like they are taking better steps to make it happen.

Currently the Cowboys lead the game 7 to 3.
