Tennessee Titans have played a great game and they never gave up.

What could have been a game winning field goal by Shaun Suisham of the Pittsburgh Steelers was short and did not make it over the uprights.

The Titans had 50 seconds or so to get into scoring distance and they do just that with a 25 yard run giving them the first down.

With a tied score at 23 each Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has the ball and the talent to move the ball down field and get his team into field goal or touchdown scoring range.

I must say this game has been a little more exciting then I thought it was going to be. The Titans have done a little better than I anticipated and a few mistakes at some of the worst times have cost the Steelers yards or a 3rd down conversion and the Titans have been capitaizing on them.

A Pittsburgh field goal from 55 yards increases their lead to 7. The score is now 23 to 16 late in the fourth quarter.

A big play by Lawrence Timmons and he picks off a Titans pass for the interception. It was exactly what Pittsburgh needed to increase their lead reducing the opportinity for Tennessee to turn the game back in their favor.

Currently the score is at Titans 16 to Pittsburgh 20 with the latest score being a 1 yard rushing touchdown by Batch of the Steelers.

A few minutes left in the 3rd quarter the Steelers get the ball back and it is a 3 point game. The Titans are currently winning 16 to 13.

After a really big play and 1st down by the Steelers it appears they are going to be within striking distance of getting the lead back and Roethlisberger quarterback for the Steelers throws an interception and the titans have the ball back.

They make a few really good plays and they are looking at increasing their lead.

The Titans are not able to convert but do get within field goal range and make a 47 yard field goal. They increase their lead and the half time score is 16 Titans to Steelers 10.

I honestly thought the Steelers would be taking a 5 or 6 point lead into the locker room at the half.
