Green Bay scores second touchdown week 4

Hitting Greg Jennings for his 50th career catch, the first of this season, early in the second quarter, Green Bay adds more points and takes the lead back over New orleans.

Rodgers has now completed passes to 7 different recievers.

Green Bay now up 14 to 7 against New Orleans.

Green Bay vs New Orleans in week 4 2012

Green bay back at home for the first hame since the replacement official debacle of last week is first to take the lead with a touchdown in the first quarter.

It was 7 plays and 62 yards but I think the ability of Aaron Rodgers to move the ball and read the defense of the Saints will actually improve as the game continues.

In order for New Orleans to be effective I think they are going to have to force him out of the pocket more and keep changing things up. He does well under this kind of pressure but it remains to be seen whether they can do this effectively.

Fox changes the channel on NFL game watchers

After having been upset today by not having a choice in games to watch because of Brighthouse, I now have my choices removed by FX.

I was very much wanting to watch the last part of the San Francisco game but FOX decided I wasn’t allowed and switched to a different game once again removing MY CHOICE in the matter.

Fox, it’s bad enough you have a twisted sense of what is fair to the American people, but to do this shows how little you really care about people at all.

When a fan wants to watch a football game they usually want to watch the whole damn game.

Sanchez back in for a few plays 4th quarter week 4

I am not sure what the head coach is thinking since he puts Sanchez back in on the next possession after having given Tebow only 2 plays. I think he needs to put him back in.

If San Francisco can convert this possession into another score I think the Jets will be in a position that will be diificult to recover from.

The 49ers have the ball and are nearing mid field and have a 24 to nothing lead with less than 11 minutes left in the game.

Tebow finally enters game against Jets at end of 3rd quarter week 4

The Jets finally put Tebow in for the last play of the third quarter to see if he can move the ball better and put some points on the board.

Being down 24 to 0 against San Francisco adds some pressure, but he has proven time and again that he does ok under pressure.

The injury of Holmes and subsequent fumble that allowed the 49ers to run it in for another touchdown is not a game ender but just made the Jets job a whole lot more difficult.

San Francisco score first touchdown in 3rd quarter week 4

San Francisco 49ers take a 17 to 0 lead in the third quarter in the game against the Jets.

I think we will likely see more of the method they have been using today of giving the ball to more guys. So far today 7 different players have carried the ball and have managed to keep the jets defense on their toes more and keep changing things up.

The next possession of the jets is one of the most important of the game and they need to turn it into a score to get back in the game.

49ers miss another field goal 3rd quarter week 4

David Akers misses another field goal attempt in the third quarter. This makes him 1 for 3 for the day so far.

Even though they are currently enjoying a 10 to 0 lead, he needs to calm down and get his accurracy back in line since there will certainly be games in the future where the win will be on him to get the ball between the uprights.

San Francisco 49ers vs NY Jets halftime week 4

The 49ers go into the locker room at half time with a 10 to nothing lead.

To me so far the game has been somewhat uneventful, but I think that the Jets need to define their offensive goals a little more and maybe conncentrate on the running game.

The Jets offense needs to stop turning the ball over in their own territory, and try to capitalize more with what they have instead of relying too much on the defense to salvage the game.

They have the second half to turn things around, but they also need to remember that San Francisco will also be aware that they need to improve their offensive game and they will likely keep running the ball and changing things up in the backfield since this has worked rather well for them on a few key plays in the first half.

Brighthouse Central Florida doesn’t have the games

Brighthouse does a horrible job of allowing footbal fans to see the games they want

Disappointment doesn’t even come close to how I feel about Brighthouse today.

Here it is Sunday afternoon, nice weather, and I have no real choices in the 1:00 PM NFL games I want to watch today. Yes, I can and do have the San Francisco vs NY Jets game on, but that is my ONLY choice.

No other game is available to me, NONE!

Even though CBS is covering 3 games in this time slot, I can’t see any of them because the IDIOTS at Brighthouse think that an infomercial selling a damn juicer is more important than football.

Hey Brighthouse, do you really think I wanna watch a station that shows me highlights? Maybe later tonight or tomorrow or during the week, but when the games are actually taking place, SHOW ME THE GAMES, or I will drop your service and use a service that shows me what I want to see.

Move the infomercials to the middle of the night since people don’t watch them anyway, don’t believe those viewership numbers, those people just fell asleep with the tv on that channel. Or create a channel just for them. Even if you think it’s smart to compete with the NFL a tv show that is nothing more than a stupid ad about a juicer isn’t gonna cut it, a movie might, maybe a cop show or a syndicated series marthon.

Whoever made up this weeks schedule must be the same jerk that thinks the new guides colors with black backgrounds and black borders and the complete lack of color is more appealing than what you had that was easier to read.

Ok, my rant is over, until something else aggrivates me.

Alabama wins over Mississippi 09-29

The Rebels didn’t give in and tried to stay focussed but just couldn’t pull it off.

I think they need to work on their offense a bit, since even though they tried a change in quarterbacks they could not get their offense to just make the plays in times when they needed it the most.

The final, Alabama wins 34 to 14 over Mississippi.
